Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic
Research & Development Institute

At the heart of Koothattukulam, Kerala, stands the beacon of traditional Ayurvedic excellence - the Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Center. Steeped in the rich legacy of the Nellakaatu Mana, a distinguished lineage renowned for its expertise in Netru Chikitsa (Eye Treatments), Sreedhareeyam seamlessly marries the wisdom of three centuries with cutting-edge medical advancements. From its modest beginnings, the center has evolved into a formidable NABH-accredited institution, equipped with a 350-bedded facility. This union of ancient Ayurvedic methodologies with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools ensures comprehensive care for a plethora of eye and general conditions.

Elevating our commitment to Ayurveda and its endless possibilities, we introduce the Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research and Development Institute (SARDI). Positioned as the research cornerstone of the Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital, SARDI stands at the forefront of groundbreaking research in Salakya Tantra, an esteemed Ayurvedic discipline focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of ailments located above the neck, prominently featuring eye diseases. Join us in our journey of rediscovering and reshaping the golden tenets of Ayurveda for the modern world.

Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research & Development Institute's Charity Wing embodies the principle of "Vision for All". Anchored in this belief, the wing generously assists patients, who, constrained by economic barriers, might otherwise go untreated. To further this noble cause, the institute orchestrates complimentary O.P. eye camps every Friday, offering not only expert consultation but also providing essential medications at no charge.

In essence, Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research & Development Institute is not just a medical facility but a sanctuary of hope and healing. Our Charity Wing stays true to its mission, ensuring vision is a right, not a privilege. With a legacy in specialized Ayurvedic eye care and an unwavering commitment to research and development, Sreedhareeyam continues to illuminate lives, one patient at a time
