Experts chart roadmap for integrated diabetic retinopathy management at 'Sunetra 2026'

In an exciting development for the Ayurvedic community, the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) in New Delhi, the leading autonomous institution under the Ministry of Ayush, is set to host a two-day training programme on the specialized field of Shalakya Tantra. This event, scheduled for the 29th and 30th of October, 2023, will be held at the renowned Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital & Research Center, located in Koothattukulam, Eranakulam, Kerala. Shalakya Tantra, an integral branch of Ayurveda, focuses on ailments above the clavicle and necessitates intricate instruments for accurate diagnosis and treatment. This programme promises to be an immersive experience, offering UG, PG, and Ph.D. scholars, along with practicing clinicians, invaluable insights into procedures like Netra Kriya Kalpa and eye exercises.
With the core objective of nurturing and empowering the next generation of Ayurveda professionals in the realm of Shalakya Tantra, the program will be comprehensive. Alongside the intensive training, there will be open discussions with seasoned experts in the field. However, aspiring participants must note that prior registration is mandatory, with a capped limit of 30 participants. The programme is especially tailored for teachers within the Shalakya Tantra field, providing them with an opportunity to delve deeper and enrich their knowledge base.
